Baby Boy Gift Pack

My sister-in-law Alison asked me to make her some baby stuff for her babysitter who just had a baby boy. She went with me to pick out the fabric and I just finished everything today.

I think it turned out great!

In all I made a nursing cover, 2 burp cloths, a wipes case, and 2 bibs.

Everything matches
The bibs
Nursing cover with adjustable straps

Burp Cloths
Bird detail on the Burp cloths. I thought a flower would be too girlie.

Wipes case. I love the buttons and ribbon on it.

Crib Bumper

I finished the crib bumper for Colin's bed!

This is quite an accomplishment considering the fact that he is only 2 weeks old.

I think it turned out pretty cute. It took awhile to make, because I cut out all of the animals by hand and then had to sew each one on.

It's pretty wrinkled. I will iron it, but I was so excited to be done that I just had to put them on the crib right away.

I have extra material so I plan on making a blanket to match.

Wipe Cases

Another easy thing I made was a wipes case. I used scraps from my diaper bag. All you need is a hot glue gone, a plastic wipes container, ribbon, and any other embellishments you want to use.

Isn't that so much cuter than a plain old plastic container?

I made this one for my sister-in-law to match the burp cloths I made her. It turned out so adorable!

Diaper Bag

I have finally finished the diaper bag I have been working on for awhile. It definitely tested my limited sewing skills, but I'm proud to say that I got it done and it turned out great! :) My mom helped me out with it a lot at first. Thanks Mom! I was able to finish it up by myself.

And now for the reveal.....

Voila! I love the colors. It has four pockets on the inside and three on the outside. I can't wait to put baby stuff in it to bring to the hospital.

This is the pattern I used.

I made it like this diaper bag, but I added a button to the bow, because I think it made it even cuter!

Burp cloths

I have had an obsession with making baby stuff lately. Probably because I'm having one soon. I decided to make a bunch of burp cloths. They are really easy. I cut out my own pattern with a Kohl's Ad and then used that pattern to cut out a piece of fabric and a piece of terry cloth. Here are pictures of the ones I've made so far:

I made these ones with scraps from the material I used for my diaper bag.

These ones are for my sister-in-law. She is having a girl. They make great gifts!

Another one I made from a fabric scrap.
